Cole T. Harris Joins Elite Anglr

Posted by Elite Anglr on

Cole was born & raised in Vermont on the shores of Lake Champlain. He fell in love with fishing at his grandparents' pond down the road where he would have family fishing derbies with his two cousins and sister. Cole raced competitive motocross from age 7 until his early 20’s. When he eventually stopped racing, he needed to fill the void and lack of competitiveness. This is when fishing took over his life. He talked his dad into co-signing on his first boat and became great friends with his salesman Gene. He took Cole under his wing and showed him the ways of catching Lake Champlain bass. Cole credits Gene to all of his bass fishing success to date. When not fishing, you can find him in the garage working on cars, coaching his local high school bass fishing team, or dreaming about the next tournament.
Over the years, Cole has competed in local and regional tournaments, eventually branching out to FLW and Bassmasters Opens. He has qualified for the Vermont State Team 4 years in a row. He went to the regionals 3 times and almost qualified for TBF nationals, but sunk his boat trying to get back to weigh in during a bad storm.
Cole has a great support system full of family and close friends. He looks forward to what the future holds and can’t wait to qualify for the tour.
